– Sometimes pad does not appear with settings of target apps.
The app detection process stops after the pad is hidden by Close [x] button. To show the pad manually, launch SimpleTouchPad app, tap the widget or tap accessibility shortcut. As for widget, you can put it in home app by tapping +Widget button in Options. As for accessibility shortcut of Android, set in Android Settings – Accessibility – SimpleTouchPad – SimpleTouchPad shortcut.
– How to hide the cursor?
Keep cursor mode will show cursor during the pad is shown, so minimize the pad. Or, you can switch to Point and Stroke mode, which will hide cursor until touched. Note that Point and Stroke mode resets the position of cursor when it is hidden.
– The cursor position shifts/shaky when finger is lifted.
It is due to the deviation correction function. You can adjust/remove the function from Correct Finger Up in Options – Touch. The larger time / distance(dp), the greater the correction.
– In Pinch mode, tapping the pad does not start pinch operation.
Try adjusting the settings related to tap judgment, Tap Threshold in Options – Touch.
– The buttons do not rotate when the screen rotates.
To rotate the location of the buttons, switch the setting ‘Buttons Follow Rotation‘ and ‘Device-based Placement‘ in Options – Screen.
– The position of the operation and the cursor is different. (Foldable devices)
Try switching ‘RealSize‘ and ‘Display‘ in Options – Screen, to change the base coordinates to calculate the position for operation in screen.
(For open beta 2.0b) Set Options – Screen – Screen Size: to the foldable device name or Flexible, or Fixed screen size.

– How to show TIPS again?
Try tapping the title icon.
– The pad disappears and must be restart service.
Android OS may stop service automatically for battery optimisation. Tap Related Shortcuts and Battery Opt. in SimpleTouchPad app to open the setting, and set SimpleTouchPad as Not optimised app (or in Power-saving exceptions). Some devices requires additional settings of the maker specific configuration, so refer the external site Don’t kill my app! by experts, including the setting steps for each device.
